Are you new to lingerie sewing? Then the Lingerie Material Pattern Card is for you.

All the elastics that are needed for a pattern lead to overwhelm for one beginner or the other.
Carrier rubber, underwire tape, decorative braid, piping tape, folding rubber, décolleté rubber... how are you supposed to keep a clear view or overview.

There are no international standards as to how the fabrics are called, no standard composition and no standard color palette. While substances have a name in German-speaking countries, the same term can mean something else in English. It is therefore important to understand what you are looking for and for what purpose.

That's why I put this map together. On 9 A4 pages you can expect:
- An overview and fabric samples of the most commonly used fabrics for lingerie, their names in English and German, and their uses.
- You get to know fabrics and to distinguish between heavy Powernet, Powernet and Powermesh.
- You will get tips on the choice of haberdashery and learn how to match them to your project to achieve the desired hold.
- Tips on using narrow tip.
- An overview of fabrics and elastics for swimwear.
- In addition, I added an overview of the bra parts to the map and a representation of which fabrics go where.
- And last but not least you get a table with the most used sewing stitches, their description and use when sewing lingerie.

All of this will be mailed in an envelope.
